Rhea Dubois-Phillips
Rhea Dubois-Phillips is a communications leader with 30 years of experience helping organizations clarify their message, protect their reputation, and lead through change with confidence. She has counselled Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, and financial institutions across Canada and internationally, with expertise spanning corporate communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Rhea holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia, a Master’s from the University of London (England), and a Diplôme from the Université de Paris, Sorbonne. Rhea serves on the boards of the Vancouver Police Foundation and the Cause We Care Foundation, supporting single mothers. She has been recognized among Vancouver’s Top 50 Women We Admire and named one of Business in Vancouver’s Most Influential in Marketing and PR.

Joanna O’Neill
Joanna O’Neill is a seasoned communications strategist with over 15 years of experience advising leading brands across Canada and the U.S. She has led national product launches, executive communications, and media relations for global names like Samsung, Microsoft, and Meta, as well as respected Canadian organizations including BCAA and Colliers. Prior to joining WinterCove Communications, Joanna worked at Edelman and at a PR agency in Los Angeles, where she developed strategies for clients ranging from start-ups to global tech giants. Her work has consistently secured high-impact media coverage. She holds a Master’s in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.

Mike Shackle
Mike Shackle is one of Canada’s most awarded creatives, having led strategy and creative for global brands such as Standard Chartered Bank, Adidas, Dell, Singapore Airlines, Microsoft, Vaseline, Chevron Texaco, GAP, Emirates Airlines, Ally Bank, American Express, Disney, and Pernod Ricard. With international experience spanning North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, he has delivered iconic campaigns—from launching GAP into China and overseeing a $30 million brand refresh for Emirates to driving 30% annual growth for Ally Bank. His work has been recognized at Cannes, D&AD, One Show, and the Effies, featured in the New York Times, debated in Congress, and even discussed in the Vatican. Beyond advertising, Mike is the author of the globally published The Last War fantasy trilogy, described as “Tarantino meets Game of Thrones.”
